Open house planned for new business hub

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Steamboat Arts Academy, Steamboat Academy of Music, Rocky Mountain Karate Academy and CrossFit Steamboat will host an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at 2645 Jacob Circle in Steamboat Springs.

Steamboat Academy of Music owner Holly Fielding said the event is an opportunity for the public to view the new space where the new businesses are located, which is within the former TIC building that was used for classrooms. There will be free food, and people will have the chance to sign up for the different programs.

The Steamboat Arts Academy is a new business specializing in performing arts, and the Steamboat Academy of Music will offer private and group lessons in violin, viola, cello, piano and voice. The Steamboat Karate Academy has been teaching children the art of karate for decades, and CrossFit offers fitness opportunities for children and adults.
