One Fine Day offers flowers and more
Kimberly Bunker is relying on experience to run her new business in Routt County. The wedding planner and floral designer has been putting her touch on special events for more than 17 years.
The Telluride transplant brought business with her — One Fine Day Productions.
One Fine Day Productions specializes in wedding coordinating from flowers to cakes and much more. In addition, the business also offers bouquet delivery for the home or office.
“I love flowers,” Bunker said. “I specialize in wedding consultation and design but I’m willing to do just about anything to help people brighten their lives with beautiful flowers.”
Bunker is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, a worldwide organization that promotes professionalism within its membership.
Wedding planning is Bunker’s favorite aspect of her business and she’s eager to help people plan their special day.
“My clients don’t have to have me plan their entire wedding. If they just want me to do the cake or the flowers that’s fine. I’m willing to help wherever I’m needed.”
While working at her business in Telluride, Bunker said she became popular with celebrities visiting the community.
“I arranged flowers for Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s wedding; Christy Brinkley, Kathleen Kennedy, Gen. Norman Schwarzkoff, and the list goes on.
Oprah Winfrey was a regular client when she was in town,” Bunker said. “I want people to know that even though I had famous clients in Telluride, my flowers are very affordable. I work out of my home so I have very little overhead and I can keep my prices down.”
One Fine Day Productions offers custom arrangements and handmade wedding decorations.
“I never do the same thing twice. I have access to things you can’t rent, like arches and special flower arrangement holders,” she said. “I have flower vendors all over the country and can get just about any kind of flowers that the client wants. I can even make arches out of living aspens and then the client can keep the trees as mementos of their special day after the ceremony.”
Although Bunker said she can’t get enough of working with flowers, she also said she enjoys working with people to plan their special occasions.
“I just enjoy it very much. I have a natural knack for working with flowers and people,” Bunker said. “I hit it off with just about anybody and I thoroughly enjoy going through the process of planning an event from start to finish with my clients. I can take their ideas and make them a reality.”
