Rendezvous Trails home contract pending
Steamboat Springs — A new contract on a six-bedroom home in the Rendezvous Trails subdivision and the closing on an Old Town home for $555,000 were among the high points in an otherwise struggling real estate market in Northwest Colorado for the week of Oct. 6 to 13.
Eliese Pivarnik, of Colorado Group Realty, reported on her blog at http://www.steamboathomesales.com the pending sale of a home on Ridge Road in Rendezvous Trails. It was listed at $4.2 million. The asking price reflects a per-square-foot price of $560.
Other properties that went under contract last week include a Spring Meadows condo that was listed at $259,900 and a two-bedroom Mountain Vista townhome that was listed at $444,000.
Among transactions that closed last week is a three-bedroom home on Missouri Avenue that was listed at $564,900 and sold for $555,000.
Another buyer closed on a two-bedroom Whistler Village townhome for $265,000. It had been listed for $285,800.
Recent construction in downtown Steamboat brought an $885,000 sale on a two-bedroom Waterside Village condo that had been listed at $895,000.

Bell contributed to Saddle Ridge work
An article on the Saddle Ridge subdivision which published in the Oct. 5 Steamboat Pilot & Today overlooked the contributions of Mike Bell, a longtime Yampa Valley contractor and original partner of developer Todd Gilbertson.
Bell performed all of the site and road work, and installed a large solar panel near the entrance to the subdivision west of Steamboat Springs.
Bell has been a builder here for 28 years, and his attention to detail is evident in the carefully laid out roads and home sites.
