Old timers in Steamboat who remember Bill Hill, former leader of the Steamboat Chamber Resort Association and business professor at Colorado Mountain College, know that Bill would be so pleased to see the iconic Steamboat Barn being preserved. He worked tirelessly to find a way to preserve it and certainly laid the groundwork that made us all aware of how important the barn is to the image of Steamboat. I know he is smiling from heaven as he read your article regarding its preservation.
