South Bristol, New York: July 18, 2017.
Passed peacefully at home, overlooking Canandaigua Lake, at age 100. She is survived by five children, Bill Balden, San Seymour, Elizabeth (Rob) Merrill, Margie (Mike) Morse and Amy (Kevin) Moran; eight grandchildren, two sisters and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands, William Balden 1946 and Mort Seymour in 2003. Dawn was born in Rochester, NY. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 1939. Dawn was a US Army Air Corps veteran of WWII and a B-17 pilot in the WASP Program. She and her Sister WASPSs received the Congressional Gold Medal in 2010, for their wartime service.
