On Thursday, July 26, 2018, Stephen Carl Halladay, father, grandfather, and brother, entered eternal life in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Stephen was born February 20, 1954 in Ruidoso, New Mexico. An avid ski racer, Stephen first visited Steamboat in 1966, for a race at Mount Werner. Stephen had a deep love for the Rocky Mountains throughout his entire life.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 5, at 10:00 a.m., at Cedar Creek picnic area (Sam Tobias, site 1) in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
