We mourn the loss of Juan Diego Ochoa (known as J.D. to most and Diego to the town of Oak Creek), a remarkable human being whose passing on September 7, 2023, has left a significant void. J.D.’s passion for the outdoors and his insightful nature enriched our lives and broadened our perspectives. J.D. was known for his love, authenticity, and exceptional humor. His ability to lighten any situation with his wit and charm made every moment with him memorable. J.D. was a friend who provided unwavering support and guidance. His strength and resilience were inspiring, as he treated everyone with warmth, respect, and affection, making him a valued member of the community. While we grieve J.D.’s loss, we also celebrate his life and the joy he brought us. We invite all who knew him to honor his memory and cherish our shared moments. J.D.’s life demonstrated the power of love, laughter, and deep connections. His spirit will continue to inspire us. He is survived by his sister, Erika Khoury and daughter, Valentina Alfonso…..Rest in peace, Juan Diego.
