Dr. David Stoner Criste (Dr. Dave) passed away at home earlier this week after a sudden illness. He was an avid outdoorsman, mechanic, and doctor of chiropractic. He loved the Yampa Valley, Colorado, and the west. Dr. Dave deeply cared for his patients – from head to toe and nose to tail as he used to say. You may have seen him around the valley doing veterinary chiropractic on horses, riding his bike on Spring Creek, or soaking at the Strawberry Park Hot Springs. Or, at his office on Oak St, doing his favorite activity, snow removal. He is survived by his siblings, his wife Andrea, and his three daughters Julie, Stephie (Raimundo), and Sequoia, and his grandson Jaxson. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Colorado Mountain College Foundation’s “No Barriers Student Emergency Fund.” (https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E4935&id=9)
