He had a neon sign business and made beautiful signs and art out of blowing neon glass and was very proud of keeping the historic Rabbit Ears Motel sign in Steamboat Springs working for many years during his visits. David was a “collector of treasure” and loved to restore vintage automobiles. David was very active at St. Agnes Catholic Church sharing his time and talents with parishioners and his church. He served for over 25 years on the Calgary Cemetery Board.
David never met a stranger he didn’t like and waved to every vehicle he passed. He is survived by his siblings; Celeste, Jette (Pat), Paul, Cecilia (Bernt) as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends throughout the years.
David was preceded in death by both parents and his brother Jerome.
