Daniel Kvarfordt Barratt of Hayden, Colorado passed away August 27, 2023 after struggling from illnesses for 25 years. He is now with our Lord, his dad, mom, and sister Kathy. Dan was born February 8, 1957 in Pocatello, Idaho to Cleve and Betty Barratt. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Alice Leipold Barratt of Hayden, sister Karen (Gus) Dunbar, brother Jim (Debbie) Barratt, sister Susan Barratt, nephew Todd Dunbar of Grand Junction. Nephew Joe and Adam Lynott of Denver.
Dan’s passions were his wife, art, music, and theater. He was a portrait artist, played the guitar, banjo, harmonica, and squeeze box. Give him an instrument and in an hour, he could play it. He was in several productions at the 7th street playhouse. The most memorable was Godspell, a production he performed with his wife Alice.
Dan my love, my life, my friend, you will be greatly missed by many. A celebration of his life will be held at Mission of Grace Church in Hayden, Thursday, September 28, at 11:00 am.
