Lois M. Cook

Lois M. (Fetty) Cook, 87, born August 22, 1929 in Kennett MO and longtime resident of Craig CO went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 15, 2016, in Bloomfield NM.

Lois married William H. (Billy) Cook on January 28, 1946, in Pueblo CO; and to their union 3 children were born. Together they enjoyed 66 years of marriage until his unexpected death in 2013.

Lois enjoyed being a homemaker, buying and selling jewelry, and being a Real Estate agent. She enjoyed camping and fishing with Billy and she always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Jess Benjamin (Ben) Cook; two daughters, Lila M. (Cook) Fairchild and husband Jim; Jeanne (Cook) Rowe and husband Todd; one adopted “daughter” Phyliss Phillips; one brother, Raymond C. Fetty and wife Alice; one sister-in-law, Iona (Cook) Stanley; four grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 10:00 am at Imperial Memorial Gardens, Pueblo CO.  Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 23 from 3-7 pm. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Imperial Memorial Gardens, Pueblo CO.
