Benton Holt Pollok

Benton Holt Pollok, 88, passed away on May 3, 2016, in Saluda, Virginia He was born in Danville, Virginia on September 27, 1927, to Mary Elizabeth Woolley and Nicholas Lewis Pollok. Benton Pollok graduated from Florida Southern College and the George Wythe School of Law (College ofWilliam and Mary.) Benton is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy K. Davis, and by their son, Thomas Hart Benton Pollok of Fredericksburg, Virginia. He is also survived by his children from a previous marriage to Honor M. Stickney: Mary K. Afable of Sturbridge, Massachusetts, Mallory H. Pollok of Craig, Colorado, and Nicholas L. Pollok of Richmond, Virginia; his stepdaughter Joan S. Borel of Summerland Key, Florida; and his brother, Nicholas L. Pollok, of Frederick, Maryland. Benton was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Kathleen Pollok and by his sister Connie Conway (Elizabeth C. Pollok.) A memorial service was held on Friday, May 13, at Christ Church Episcopal, Middlesex County, Virginia.
