James N Montieth

Lifetime Routt County resident, James N Montieth, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 19th, 2015. Jim was the 11th child born to Sam and Ida ( Hindman) Montieth on April 4, 1937. He attended school at Mt Harris and graduated from Hayden Union High School. In summer of 1952 he met Carolyn ( Holderness), they were married on September 4, 1956, to this union 4 children were born. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, son Will ( Jill) Montieth of Hayden, 3 daughters Joan ( Gary) Medvesk of Hayden; Carol ( Darrell) Camilletti of Craig; and Jamie ( Gary ) Erikson of ND. Two grand-sons, Graig Medvesk, Joe Camilletti; ten grand-daughters, Cammi ( Kyle) Balleck, Jane ( Kyle) Kostur, Maranda ( Mark) Carlson, Kim and Jeni Medvesk, McKenzie ( Devin) Undhjem, Melissa, Lisa, Leah, Jana Camilletti and eight great grand children. He is also survived by his brother George ( Nancy) Montieth. Preceding him in death were brothers Bill, Ed, and Herb; and sisters Julia Waddle, Norma Rolando, Doris Rutherford, and Ruby Deluca. A memorial has been set up at Grant Mortuary for Young Life.
