Tammy Herfurtner

Tammy Herfurtner nee Litton, a longtime Steamboat resident, passed away on May 7, 2015. Tammy leaves behind Jeff Herfurtner, her doting husband of 40 years, her daughter Abigail Barbero and family Scott, Isaac and Eloise Barbero, who she loved dearly. Also, remaining are her sister, Shaunna Watterson and family Brian, Brianna and Andrew of Steamboat and her brother Todd Litton and family Carol, Sebastian and Michelle of Denver. She was preceded in death by her son, Jared Herfurtner, and her parents, Rex and Margaret Litton. Tammy was born and raised in Steamboat Springs and is a 5th generation Routt County resident. Her passions in life included her family, quilting and genealogy. A celebration of her life is planned for Sunday May 17th from 2:30-4:30pm at the Steamboat Springs Community Center. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made in Tammy’s name at the Davis Phinney Foundation (http://www.davisphinneyfoundation.org/giving/) .
