Edward Oscar Montieth

Edward Oscar Montieth, was born September 12, 1933 in Mount Harris Colorado, one of 12 children to Sam and Ida Montieth.
Ed loved his family, the outdoors, animals and country music. He was a very kind, easy going, loving man with a huge heart and a laugh that was not only contagious but could be heard from a mile away.
Ed is survived by his wife, Shirley, Daughter, Shannon and her husband Delbert. Step sons, Bob and Dean Goeddel. Grandsons, Michael and Lorren Bostock, 5 step Grandsons and 4 step-great grandchildren. Brothers Herb (Barbara), Jim (Carolyn) and George (Nancy). Sisters Ruby DeLuca , Doris Rutherford and many, many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Father Sam , Mother Ida, Brother Bill Montieth, Sister Julia Waddle sister Norma Rolando, 2 baby sisters and a baby brother that all passed away at a young age, and step daughter, Becky Goeddel.
Services were held May 13th at the Oak Creek Cemetery. The family would like to thank everyone for all of the warm thoughts, cards, flowers, food and phone calls through this hard time.
