Earl Ernest Kline

Earl Ernest Kline was born Dec. 8, 1922, to Ernest and Elizabeth Herod Kline at the Kline Ranch, east of Cedar Mountain near Craig.
He passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at his home.
As a young man, Earl accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized.
He graduated from Craig High School in 1941
Earl married Beulah Acuff at Cedaredge, CO June 18th, 1944.
On June 30, 1945, daughter Gayle Ruth joined the family. Daughter Sheila Roxanne was born Jan 17th, 1950.
Son Randell Bert arrived on January 13th, 1954, and their family was complete.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beulah in 2011; daughter Gayle Ruth and her infant son Donald Scott Silver in 1971; and sisters Mary, Edith and Elizabeth.
He is survived by brother David Kline, of S.C., sister Jessie Easterly, of Grand Junction, and Jeanne (Larmon Loucks), of Broomfield; sisters-in-law Gayle Griffin, of Grand Junction and Carlene Huffman, of Hutchinson, Kan.; his daughter, Sheila (Rex) Evans and their four children, Sheri (Dan) Backhaus, Jill (Chris) Kellum, Mark (Melissa) Evans and Travis (Sara) Evans; his son Randell ( LuAnn) Kline and their three children, Karl (Traci) Kline, Brett (Meagan) Kline and Alayna (Devon) Christensen; great grandchildren Trista and Teka Perry, Rylan, Landen, Kenzy and Morgan Kellum, Tayler and Trey Evans, Terin and Breydon Christopher, and Keenan Evans; and one great- great grandson, Grayson Perry.
Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Elim Bible Camp or the elevator fund at the Journey at First Baptist Church.
