Oak Creek Town Board to discuss recreation master plan at meeting

— At its 7 p.m. Thursday meeting, the Oak Creek Town Board will have a meeting with University of Colorado Denver students from the Colorado Center for Community Development about a recreation master plan.

The cost for the plan is slated to be $16,500 with a portion of that being covered by a grant from the Colorado Health Foundation. The amount of that grant was not available Wednesday.

A document of the plan’s scope from the Colorado Center for Community Development states that “under this proposal, CCCD Design Consultation services will provide design services to the city of Oak Creek for a comprehensive recreation master plan document.”

Thursday will be the initial meeting with students and the program manager, according to the agenda.

Also during Thursday’s meeting, the Town Board will review a presentation on a Web page update for the town from Bitty Webs LLC.
