Oak Creek launches new town website

Michael Schrantz

— The town of Oak Creek has launched a new website for town business and information.

The new site, http://www.townofoakcreek.com, was developed by Bitty Webs LLC for $6,500, according to Town Administrator Mary Alice Page-Allen. The website project was budgeted for by the town.

Oak Creek administrative staff will handle most of the site maintenance, she wrote in an email, but the website developer also can be called on for major items.

Page-Allen wrote in an email that the new website provides the ability to subscribe to agendas, minutes, road closure notifications and a monthly newsletter. Oak Creek utility users can pay bills through the site, and employment opportunities, a business directory and the town’s code also are available.
