No quorum for Monday’s Steamboat Springs school board meeting
John F. Russell
Steamboat Springs — The Steamboat Springs Board of Education will likely not have a quorum for tonight’s meeting, which was scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
Steamboat Springs School District Superintendent Brad Meeks said it appeared likely Monday afternoon that board members Sam Rush, Michelle Dover and Joey Andrew would all be unable to attend the meeting, resulting in a lack of a quorum for the five-member board.
The meeting will still begin at 5:30 p.m., but upon not seeing a quorum, board chair Margie Huron will be required to adjourn the meeting.
The meeting will either be rescheduled for next week or combined with the Dec. 5 meeting.
