Next Fatherhood Skills program begins Oct. 1

The Fatherhood Program of Routt County is hosting the next offering of its free, five-week Fatherhood Skills Program starting Oct. 1 to help fathers build and strengthen positive parenting attitudes and behaviors.
The class will take place 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 1-29, at Old Town Hot Springs in downtown Steamboat Springs.
The class includes roundtable discussions about parenting, tips and tricks on how to develop a nurturing household environment and the opportunity for dads to learn something new about themselves and their parenting skills. Participants receive free dinner each class and a $100 gift card after course completion.
