New YogaGrass event to feature live bluegrass music

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Talaya Thomas and Randy Kelley & Friends will host an inaugural YogaGrass event from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at Sundance Studio.

Thomas, a local yoga instructor and Steamboat Movement Fest organizer, will guide the class through a heart-opening, 90-minute practice while Randy & Friends keep the class moving with live music and the healing power of sound.

“Growing up in Boulder, yoga and bluegrass have always played a large part in my life,” Thomas said. “And now in Steamboat, bluegrass music and yoga are two things that have gotten incredibly popular. I’m excited to bring two things that I love together with YogaGrass.”

Steamboat Movement Fest will also be offering a giveaway ticket to the sold out 2019 WinterWonderGrass event.

The cost to attend is $25 in advance and $35 at the door. The event is a fundraiser for the Steamboat Movement Fest.
