New dentists in town
October 11, 2005
It’s just a coincidence that Nate and Diana Haerr liked the name Hayden for their 1-year-old son and also liked the town where they just purchased a dental practice.
The couple recently took over Bear River Dental Associates in the Solandt Medical Clinic from Rowan McQuarrie.
The Haerrs moved from Pueblo, where they both were practicing dentists. They also have an 8-year-old daughter, Kali.
The decision to make the move to Hayden wasn’t hard: Nate Haerr had come to the Yampa Valley for vacations for years. The couple was impressed by the friendliness in Hayden and liked the idea of working in a small town where they could get to know their clients.
“We couldn’t wish for a nicer welcome,” Nate Haerr said.
Diana Haerr, a New Mexico native, admitted the snow might take some getting used to.

The couple said they are looking forward to expanding their client base. They especially hope to attract more children.
Dianna Haerr’s experience as a mother extends to the dental chair, where she strives to make children comfortable.
“I like getting them through it when they are nervous,” she said.
Dianna Haerr also speaks Spanish.
So far, the couple has seen clients from throughout Routt and Moffat counties.
“We’ve been busy,” Nate Haerr said. “I think there has been a good response.”
The Haerrs kept all the dental hygienists and staff in the office.
Bear River Dental is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. To make an appointment, call 276-3123.
