Nancy P. Becker 1963-2000

Nancy P. Becker of Steamboat Springs died April 9, 2000 at her home. She was 37.

Nancy was born March 2, 1963, in Honolulu to Roy and Doris (Holland) Kaye.

She married Edward “Ed” Becker on Aug. 6, 1995, in Steamboat Springs.



Nancy was employed by The Butcher Shop for the past seven years, and was previously employed at the 5th Street Cafe.

She enjoyed planting, gardening, camping and jigsaw puzzles.



Survivors include her husband, Ed; a son, Carson, and a daughter, Ellie, of Steamboat Springs; her mother, Doris Kaye of Vincennes, Ind.; a sister, Nina Summers of Vincennes, Ind.; a brother, Adam Kaye and his wife, Ka’nani, of Kaui, Hawaii, and three nephews, Mitchell Summers of Vincennes, Ind., and Anthony and Noah Kaye of Kaui, Hawaii.

Memorial services will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions in Nancy’s name may be sent to the Yampa River Botanical Park, P.O. Box 776269, Steamboat Springs, 80477 or Hospice of Steamboat, P.O. Box 775816, Steamboat Springs, 80477.

Peterson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
