Misplaced car: The Record for Monday, Sept. 4, 2018

11:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 500 block of Pamela Lane. A person believed someone stole their car. The car was later located after the person realized they lent it to a friend.

12:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. A person opening a car door dinged another vehicle’s door.

5:17 p.m. Officers were called to check on a person’s welfare in the 2000 block of Bear Drive. A person was trying to reach his or her parents. Officers were unable to speak to anybody at the residence. The person called back later to say they were able to contact their family members, and the family members were OK.
