Minds in Motion mental health clinic to host open house

Minds in Motion, an integrated medicine mental health clinic, is moving from downtown Steamboat Springs to 1169 Hilltop Parkway, No. 206A. An open house at the new location will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9. The clinic focuses on counseling, specializing in trauma and also has a functional medicine component.

“What makes us very different from any other mental health place in town is that we incorporate body and mind together,” said Angela Melzer, co-owner. “With trauma the nervous system is affected and we address mental health from the whole entire body. Mental health is a huge issue in this town and we are really trying to address it differently.”
