STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Michael Martin Murphey, known as a “singing cowboy poet,” long ago established himself as a songwriting legend.

The mega hit “Wildfire” got things going but then a long string of classics followed including “Carolina In The Pines,” “Geronimo’s Cadillac,” “Cowboy Logic,” “What’s Forever For” and many more.

Steamboat Springs gets two nights with Murphy on Wednesday, Jan. 23, and Thursday, Jan. 24 at the Chief Theater.

Tickets available at “All That” in downtown Steamboat or online at TicketsWest.com.
