Medical center volunteers help with medical searches

To become an informed patient for yourself or for a family member, a Community Health Resource Center volunteer will do the research and provide you with helpful information for free. Your search results can be sent via email, regular mail or you may pick them up at the resource center located in the east wing of UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center.

Volunteers use some websites that are not available to the public. A request for information can be made in person, by calling 970-870-1173 or emailing resource@uchealth.org. The Community Health Resource Center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 pm. Monday through Friday.

The Community Health Resource Center houses more than 1,600 books, videos, journals and medical newsletters. Our free services are available to the entire community. To view our book and video collection online, visit uchealth.org/yvmc > amenities > community health resource center > online library portal.
