Man taking cigarettes: The Record for Friday, Oct. 5, 2018

9:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an older man yelling profanities in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
10:24 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. People at a business were upset at a man for dismantling a cigarette butt bin to get partially smoked cigarettes.
11:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue. A motel owner was upset at a driver on his property.
4:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man who was possibly living out of his car in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police could not find him.
10:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man harassing people in the 2600 block of Après Ski Way. He was not supposed to be drinking, and he was arrested.
1:30 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help an unconscious person in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
