— A 20-year-old man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possessing heroin.

Joshua Madsen’s arrest came after officers from the All Crimes Enforcement Team drug task force and the Steamboat Springs Police Department searched his home Thursday morning at 367 Third St.

According to an arrest affidavit filed in Routt County Court, Madsen told officers that he was a heroin user, and they would find about 2 grams of heroin in his room. Officers found the heroin in two containers.
