Man forgets to turn car off: The Record for Thursday, April 5, 2018

2:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an intoxicated pedestrian at Lincoln Avenue and 12th Street. The man had fallen and appeared to be injured. He was taken to the hospital.

10:36 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who stole a backpack and other personal items out of a locked vehicle parked in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.

3:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of jewelry found downtown at Fifth and Oak streets.

4:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an unattended vehicle that was running for a long time in the 2100 block of Snow Bowl Plaza. The owner of the vehicle thought he had turned it off and asked police to turn it off for him.

6:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who had their skis stolen from a ski rack near the Sheraton Steamboat Resort.
