STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Soroco High School senior Jace Logan continues to be the big story for the Rams wrestling team.

Logan won the 170-pound weight class with three first-period wins at the Colorado Valley Classic wrestling tournament Saturday. Logan was also voted Outstanding Wrestler for the upper weight classes and currently holds a 27-1 record this season. Logan has received the Outstanding Wrestler award in three different tournaments this season and is currently No. 2 in Colorado Class 2A state rankings.

Gene Bracegirdle, 132, went 2-2 for the Rams and finished fifth in the tournament. Bracegirdle and Logan were the only two wrestlers from Soroco to win matches at the 22-team tournament.
