Letter: Steamboat Stinger staff thanks community

The Steamboat Stinger and Honey Stinger staff would like to express our extreme appreciation to the Steamboat community for making this year’s race an absolute success. The eighth annual Steamboat Stinger had more than 900 athletes from Colorado and beyond take to the trails of Emerald Mountain the weekend of Aug. 11 and 12 for both mountain bike and running races.

We were enthusiastically supported by more than 130 local volunteers as well as the city of Steamboat Springs, the Bureau of Land Management and Routt County Road and Bridge. A special thank you to everyone involved for your continued support around this event and for making it the best yet.

Katie Black, Kirsten Tidik, Esther Drebelbis and Jordan Edwards

 Steamboat Stinger event directors
