QPR is an evidence-based approach that teaches people how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, offer hope and connect someone to help.

“Whether you’re a friend, coworker, parent or community member, you can be a lifeline,” organizers say.

The lunch training will be conducted at the Public Health Community Room at 135 Sixth St. in downtown Steamboat Springs.
