Kelly Ann Parkinson: Life-saving response

On Friday, May 13, emergency services were called to my house. I was in severe respiratory distress. Due to the knowledgeable actions of my husband who is an EMT, the emergency response team of Steamboat Springs and the very quick and precise care at Yampa Valley Medical Center, my life was saved.

I had had a C-section three days prior and was released from maternity that day. I came back home and two hours later I was in distress. It turns out through diagnosis with the Denver specialists that I suffered a very rare complication from pregnancy.

I feel like my life was saved and that my daughter has her mother only because of the care that I received.

I have never received better services anywhere. I am completely in their debt.
