Kay Weinland: Giving community

I am once again humbled by our giving and supportive community. During this year’s election difficulties, Routt County voters rallied to prove how blessed we are to live in this community. I’d like to thank everyone who volunteered their time to diligently replicate ballots, the election judges who served during early voting and on Election Day at the polls, the election judges who helped with the auditing and ballot processing, and the community members who supported us during the process. I’d also like to give a special thanks to the county commissioners, county employees, and my dedicated staff that worked tirelessly to make sure every vote was counted. Conducting an election is a very complex, labor-intensive process and we can’t do it without many volunteers. I’d like to extend my deepest gratitude to you all. I am truly honored to serve as your county clerk and recorder.
