Kay Rawlings: Thank you Team Honey Stinger

I would like to give a huge shout out to all of the amazing community members who volunteered at last weekend’s Honey Stinger events. The conditions were challenging for the athletes both days with grueling bike/run courses combined with extreme heat.

The volunteers at the aid stations were amazing. I, for one, know that I would have never completed the run on Sunday without their cheering, dumping cold water on my head, filling up my water bottles and handing me Stinger fuel. Thank you, thank you, thank you for also enduring the heat to encourage the participants.

The weekend was amazing — thank you Team Honey Stinger.
