Jimmy John’s sandwich shop opens in Central Park Plaza

— The Jimmy John’s sandwich shop that has been planned for Central Park Plaza since late summer opened its doors Tuesday.

At about 11 a.m., franchise owner Brendan Killian said the first sandwiches already had gone out the door.

The shop is next to La Fiesta Grill and Cantina.

Killian said the shop will stay open until 10 p.m. during the week and will deliver until that time. On Fridays and Saturdays, he said, the shop will stay open and deliver until midnight.

The shop can be reached at 970-761-2580.

The online ordering system was not yet operational Tuesday morning.
