Iva C. Seaman: 1923-2004

Former McCoy resident Iva C. Seaman passed away Aug. 29, 2004. She was 80.
Iva was born Sept. 13, 1923.
She worked as the postmaster in Bond for more than 25 years.
In death Iva joined in heaven her husband, Vernon F. Seaman, who wrote a column in the Steamboat Pilot for more than 15 years. The column was titled “Eyeball News: And it May Not Be So.”
One of her favorite hobbies was collecting miniature dollhouses. She also enjoyed “chewing the fat” with everyone she knew. She also was a devout Christian who dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We know she is smiling down on us.
She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.

A memorial service was held Friday at Crossroads Baptist Church in Northglenn.
