Investigation uncovers cocaine in Craig

— An undercover investigation by Grant, Routt and Moffat Narcotics Enforcement agents netted three arrests last week after cocaine was allegedly found in a Craig apartment.

John Haymes and Kasey Kendall, both 18, were arrested after agents searched an apartment in the 1200 block of Sixth Street.

A third suspect, a juvenile, was also arrested during the April 12 search.

“A quantity of cocaine and paraphernalia to use and sell cocaine was found in the apartment,” said Charles Feldmann, who is the GRAMNET project director.

Charges are pending against the three suspects in Moffat County, he said.

The search warrant was executed by GRAMNET agents and officers from the Moffat County Sheriff’s Office and the Craig Police Department.
