OAK CREEKSouth Routt may have a new place to get a hot cup of Joe.

Routt County local Tina Bird said she has plans to open a coffee shop called Mug Shots in the Oak Creek Plaza Building.

Bird said she hopes to have the business up and running by May.

“I’m going to be open at 6 a.m., so people can get a cup before they go off to work,” Bird said.

Baked goods also will be available at the shop, which will be baked in the old Routt Memorial Hospital’s convection oven.
