Illegal fireworks: The Record for Wednesday, July 4, 2018

8:29 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. Someone took a shuttle bus. An unknown person took it, and it was located at the the Chuck Lewis State Wildlife Area south of Steamboat.

3:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of illegal fireworks at Seventh and Oak Streets. There were 20 other calls about fireworks during the day.

3:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary in the 3300 block of Après Ski Way. A person thought someone broke into their house because their cat was outside.

7:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a bar in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man was asked to leave, and he became aggressive and started throwing paper.

11:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a dumpster in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.
