Hospital patient allegedly assaults security guard: The Record for Thursday, April 19, 2018

7:53 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a patient who assaulted and injured a security guard at UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center. The patient was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
8:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of some items missing from a spa in the 1100 block of Yampa Street.
2:54 p.m. Officers were called to help find the owner of a vehicle that was parked in the 2000 block of Snow Bowl Plaza. The owner of the vehicle had told the property owner who called police they needed to park the vehicle there for four hours, but it was still there after two weeks.
2:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bus shelter near Dream Island Plaza that was damaged. A glass pane on the shelter was shattered.
4:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of domestic violence in Steamboat. A man’s girlfriend was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
5:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in Steamboat who claimed they were being blackmailed on Facebook.
