Hope Cook: Health centers are valuable assets

I would like to compliment Northwest Health’s Community Health Center team’s letter on Aug. 18. They so clearly explained what a Federally Qualified Health Center is and does for our residents of Routt and Moffat counties.

Providing access to quality primary care, family planning, behavioral health and dental, as well as collaborating with public health programs gives our citizenry opportunity for optimal health, an ideal that everyone in healthcare should be striving for.

Thank you for your work and please encourage our legislators to continue supporting these valuable assets. Contact Senator Cory Gardner at 202-224-5941, Senator Bennett at 202-224-5852 and Congressman Scott Tipton at 202-225-4761.
