Holiday Classic night run rescheduled

The night race of the Murphy Roberts Holiday Classic at Howelsen Hill has been rescheduled to earlier times due to the potential of inclement weather on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022. The race will now feature runs at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

In light of the inclement weather forecast, the Murphy Roberts Holiday Classic night slalom race has been rescheduled for morning and early afternoon runs on Wednesday, Dec. 21. 

The women will begin the first run starting at 9 a.m. with the men following immediately after. The second run will start at 1 p.m.

Despite the time change, the Outrun snack bar will still have food and drinks available and there will be fire pits outside for viewing from the base. 



The race field features top athletes both locally and all around the world with 16 nations being represented. More schedule details and a livestream of the event can be found on the Murphy Roberts Holiday Classic page of the SSWSC website.
