History Day competition in Steamboat seeks judges

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Judges are needed for the National History Day Regional Competition, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Colorado Mountain College Steamboat Springs. Judges will evaluate individual and group middle school history projects with the theme of “Triumph and Tragedy.” Project categories include research paper, documentary, exhibit, website and performance.

No experience is necessary to judge projects, and volunteers can choose the category and time slot in which to evaluate projects. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Pamela Karzen at pkarzen@ssk12.org or 970-871-3577.
