Hill Blackett: Unleveling the playing field

I was interested in Lynn Abbott’s letter concerning “getting money out of politics.” The theory is that corporations are made up of people but are not “people” as the Supreme Court said. And therefore, they should not be able to make political contributions. And of course, most of these contributions go to Republicans. No mention was made of unions, which also are made up of people but are not “people” themselves. And most if not all of this money goes to the Democrats. Somehow this doesn’t sound like leveling the playing field.
