Four-vehicle crash results in temporary U.S. 40 closure near Milner

A four-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 40 at milepost 120 near Milner resulted in a highway closure at 7:58 a.m. Wednesday, according to Colorado State Patrol.
The crash, which involved a box-truck rollover, was reported at 7:42 a.m. Traffic started alternating in one lane at 8:08 a.m.
One person was transported to the hospital, according to State Trooper Sherri Mendez.
According to state patrol, a hazmat team was on the scene due to a diesel leak.
U.S. 40 reopened around 9:45 a.m. with vehicles traveling in both directions.
Mendez added that the box truck had not yet been recovered as of 10:15 a.m.
