Here’s where to expect construction delays in Steamboat Springs this summer

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Drivers in Steamboat Springs should start preparing themselves for the season of cone zones.

A new roundabout, a culvert replacement and a repaving project on Yampa Street are among the projects that will slow traffic down in parts of the city this spring and summer.

And if a historic barn is moved as planned in July, expect a delay while the historic structure slowly makes its way up Mount Werner Road.

Project schedules have yet to be announced because some projects are still being finalized.

But here’s a map showing where drivers and pedestrians should expect to encounter some construction delays at some point this construction season.

Note, drivers will be spared from the impactful road work in west Steamboat that commuters encountered last summer.
