Healthy eating: Lamb gyro meatloaf
Lamb gyro meatloaf
1 pound ground lamb
1 pound ground pork
1/2 cup seasoned dry breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons oregano
1 tablespoon dry onion flakes
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix ingredients until thoroughly combined. Place the mixture in a large loaf pan and bake until the internal temperature is 155 degrees (about 60 to 70 minutes.) Drain excess fat and let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Makes nine, one-inch servings.
