Gazpacho a la Maurice

1 15-ounce can Italian tomatoes, thickly chopped

2 large ripe tomatoes, chopped

1 green pepper, seeded and chopped

1 cucumber, peeled and chopped

5 stalks celery, chopped

1 medium white onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

6 tablespoons red wine vinegar

4 tablespoons light olive oil

1 20-ounce can V-8 juice

Hot pepper sauce to taste

Garlic salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients and allow to chill overnight.  Serves 12.
